Protesters Besiege National Assembly Complex

Some protesters  demostrated at the entrance of the National Assembly complex in Abuja to show solidarity to the embattled Senate president, Senator Bukola Saraki who is facing corruption charges at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The pro- Saraki group who turned out in large numbers in the early hours of Tuesday, September 29, were seen carrying placards and banners depicting various inscriptions to show support for Bukola Saraki. They are opposed to calls that Saraki should resign as Senate president.
Recall that some organisations, including labour unions, have already called for Saraki’s resignation from office for alleged false declaration of assets at the Code of Conduct Bureau.
Details coming soon.
